Belly Fat Diet for Bodybuilders

Finding the right lose belly fat diet can be tricky these days. There are many faddy diet plans going around that become very popular with celebrities and the like. What all of these diets have in common is their emphasis on deprivation, which can often lead to you losing weight, whereas we are interested in losing fat, which are two very different things, and ultimately comes down to the choices you make about the foods you eat.

As a general rule straight forward excessive weight gain with no medical conditions attached usually begins around the mid rift area this could be in the form of "love handles" on the hips or belly fat begins to form at the front of the abdominal cavity, if the weight gain continues the likely hood would be these two areas begin to merge losing all definition in the abdominal area giving the appearance of being slightly "pear shaped".

Both diets avoid processed foods, however, the paleo diet also avoids grains. Eating clean is a method of eating that many bodybuilders follow. Both methods of eating have their own benefits but why I think they work well is because you begin to eat whole, natural foods rather than junk. These good foods include lean meat, seafood, fresh vegetables, fruit, nuts, and seeds. Good fats are also consumed such as olive oil, fish oil, avocados, etc.

A healthy diet is crucial to losing belly fat. No amount of exercise will help you lose weight if you continue to eat high-fat, processed, junk food. However, many people set themselves up for failure by adding to their diet right away. Instead of adding, try subtracting the unhealthy items from your diet. Start easy by cutting out beverages such as soda, artificial juices, and fancy coffees.

Avoid all kinds of junk food. This is the basic of all rules. Are wafers, burgers, candies, pretzels, chips, cookies and sodas part of your staple diet? These kinds of junk food are the primary cause of belly fat. Don't snack on these, instead choose healthier options. Don't load your freezer with these and avoid the aisles selling the same at the supermarkets. Curbing down the intake of junk foods helps in cutting down on body fat and thus enhances the effects of the diet.

Body Mass Index is not an accurate measure of body fat percentage or fat distribution in women, particularly after menopause. Some women can actually experience an expanding waistline yet fail to see any weight gain on the scales. What is happening? Although you may not be gaining any extra fat, your actual abdominal fat is increasing as your hip area and limb fat decreases. This is where health problems can start to develop as abdomen fat is particularly unhealthy for both males and females.

The paleo diet is also referred to as the "caveman" diet. Grains are not a part of this diet. It focuses on lean meat, seafood, fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, nuts, and seeds. Clean eating is a way of eating that is similar to the paleo diet. Clean eaters avoid any type of processed foods and typically eat 5 to 6 small meals per day. Bodybuilders are well known for this way of eating.
